Final Fantasy Allusions/Associations in Mass Culture

...or, alternatively, seeing FF everywhere, because fans can't help associating some pop culture products or images with something that they hold dear. In other words, this is a thread for anything that either contains a direct and/or confirmed FF reference, or it doesn't, but it strongly reminds us of this or that character, or a game universe element, or a plot twist, or even music.

The thread isn't limited by FF7 only, so feel free to share anything that gives you strong Final Fantasy vibes!

I'll go first.

Here's a music video I've been meaning to post for a while. Released a couple of months ago by the British metal band Architects, the track is called "Meteor", and... Just see for yourselves.


The coloured fiery red and orange bits of the video like at 0:37, or 1:30, or 2:25, or 3:54 remind me a lot of the scene in Shinra HQ where Sephiroth invades the vision of Midgar. Additionally, the main character walks through a portal at the end of the video, which sends him flying through time and space, and runs on some rubble for a short while. Sounds familiar?

Oh dang, I'd been trying really hard to find the appropriate topic and failed, and yours was right there. Sorry for kinda hi-jacking it. :doh: (but I kinda expanded it to non-confirmed stuff and the whole franchise, hope it's still okay!)

Here's another music video with FF vibes. Katy's cosmic outfits are absolutely stunning; she looks either like a summon or a sorceress :awesome:
