I'm new!

Hello~
I found this site just a couple of weeks after it started up, trying to find a new FFVII 'home' after ACF imploded. I checked out FFOF but never made an account.
Admittedly I'm not much of a gamer. The only game I've played to the end was Crisis Core.
I wasn't going to make an account until I saw the thread "We really need to boost the activity here" so I hope I can help with that.

Edit- Can I have a bit of avatar help? It got absolutely huge on its own...
Edit, again- Oh, now I see that there is a documented problem with 100X100s, I'll just wait then.

AdventChildren.forums. Used to be a very popular Compilation of FFVII website/forums, but then there were a whole bunch of problems last year I believe (which I can't explain well) and it eventually just disappeared.

While I'm here...can anyone explain to me the usage of the Cookie Monster emoticon? I saw it on ACF, too, I think, but I can't recall what in the world it is for.
