Why is this keychain so hard to find?? I've literally been able to find or acquire every other S-E keychain, but this one?

It's like it's been erased from history.

I'm curious, does anyone own this?

And if they do, do they wanna sell it? :awesome: I'm legit shocked how of all the keychains based on the Compilation of FFVII, THIS one has become the unicorn of them all.

I'm legit shocked at this. It's not even on yahoo Japan. It's just vanished.

Very few items of FFVII merchandise gets menory-holed like this. I've seen the Cloud vs Sephiroth 2000 coldcast be on sale more than this little keychain.

How does that work??

It was on the S-E store, right? Was it a limited number run, or only on sale briefly? Because I don't get how it's so difficult to seek now. You won't find on sale anywhere. Secondary market is non-existent.

Ironically the Advent Pieces Fenrir keychain that's limited and numbered, is plentiful. Not that expensive either! How does that happen? :monster:

Breaking News

The keychain has been acquired. After an exhaustive search, I was able to find it on Mercari Japan, unopened, for almost it's original retail price.

Mercari Japan fucking rocks. :monster:

Also snagged the Vincent's Cerberus keychain too. Now my Compilation of FFVII keychain collection is complete.

Because I don't think BC actually ever got a keychain, lol

Well, I got super lucky. The person who had the SOLDIER keychain on Mercari.... had two.

They put up a second keychain right afterwards.

And this time I got it. And it's shipped so excluding some horrible freak occurrence in the mail, I should have it come January.

I think this collectible saga is over. :monster:

I much prefer the 2008 Yu-Gi-Oh! Anniversary Pack artwork of Summoned Skull, that's the one I have along with the whole set. :monster:

And it's funny how collecting is. I ended up changing my mind... And I got the Cloud Static Arts vinyl statue to match my Sephiroth since, I'm the type of person that apparently has a real hard time not having a pair of something. The price was pretty damn cheap so... I justified it by putting up my Cloud PAK with the Hardy Daytona up for sale. Because.. I simply have no space for it. The goddamn bike is too big for my glass figure case and I don't want to put it anywhere else.

And looking back, I really admire the detail and look the old school Static Arts line of vinyl statues Square had back in the early 2000s. Looking back, these were incredibly detailed in terms of scale for their price. The fact these 10 to 12 inch statues with elaborate bases went for only 150-200 bucks is insane by todays figure collecting standards. Square-Enix simply don't make figures like these anymore, not for that price. I don't know how they pulled it off back then, but I suspect that their limited number and the fact Square has chosen not to make these Static Arts figures anymore is indicative of these not being cost effective. It's far easier to make smaller Static Arts Gallery and Static Arts Busts than do these anymore, and the market has now moved onto far more larger, elaborate and expensive high end statues. These statues are rare and indicative of a different merchandise era for Square.

Parasite Eve came with a bunch of goodies like a Perfume Bottle in the shape of Aya Brea, and the FF Tactics Square Minimum Collection came with a unique FFT clock and deck of cards. It's old :monster:
