Okay I saw this comment at around ep 3 and for the remaining 10 episodes of the season I was sitting on nails - even when things just sort of worked themselves out I was like NOOO SOMETHING BAD IS GOING TO HAPPEN NOOOOOO

I was expecting a death by that comment!
I found that whole arch a bit unrealistic at first, but I need to remember it was all Vee - playing their human need for a 'family'. Vee is, although slightly unoriginal, a good character. She was more of an 'out in the open' manipulative character, which is kind of different compared to all the other characters (introduced in season 1) who are all kind of... manipulative in their own way, but not so self conscious/ direct about it. It's good they put in a proper bully character in there - I have to say though, although we got to see some of Red's more human sides, I kind of missed her BAMF side. (But then the old ladies' club took that role. OMG. Hahaha. Didnt' see that coming.)
Overall I found this season not as good as the first - it was more playing a stereotypical kind of storytelling than the first season, but that's all right. It's a TV show - if they want to keep this going, they need to add in a bit more typical TV drama (and comedy) stuff.
I also kind of didn't like what they did to Fig. How they wrote her. idk. Fig's choices were always Figs to me, due to a long life of being cynical. I understand they needed to break out her vulnerabilities, but I didn't expect them to be related to relationships. I never saw her as that kind of woman.
Also that whole Soso arch did nothing for me. Nothing.
