If we don't count Diablo 3, it's obviously gonna be Versus...considering it's the only game in development out of all the choices.

Final Fantasy Versus XIII is gonna continue to be without a release date for a long while, then the release date will be postponed as the team can't decide on their vision for the game. Final Fantasy "Versus XIII" might not be released in that name. They will change the name and in a pseudo-sense that title is thus never released.
Either that, or the title ends up scrapped and the material is used for some other huge title instead, like KHIII or an FFVII entry.

Ok, less likely scenarios than Versus XIII simply being released BUT I'M GONNA GAMBLE HERE GARRAMMIT! Hence why I vote for the Conclusion to FFVII. It will be shoddy title and KHIII will be the bigger console game.

It would be the funniest move ever if SE simply announced that Versus XIII won't be finished because it's turned out to be too much work. "We had things under control until Nomura started talking about airships, world maps and ... towns. What does he think this is, the PS1 era?"

But, really, they're going to have to release something there just to save face. There's no way the thing is coming out before 2013 at the earliest anyway, and 7 years from announcement to release would already be enough of an embarassment.

As for me, I'm going to vote for KHIII as most likely to come out first.

It's obvious Nomura's more interested in this series. In the time since Versus XIII's development was announced (May 2006, if I remember correctly), three completely new titles in the KH series have been developed and released (coded, 358/2 Days, Birth by Sleep); two remakes have been released, one of which is a remake of one of the already new titles (Re:Chain of Memories, Re:coded); two Final Mix editions have been released (KHII FM+, Birth by Sleep FM); and one completely new title is in development (Dream Drop Distance).

Nomura doesn't really give a shit about Versus XIII.

Probably Versus XIII sinc ethe KH team is doing Versus but I have to agree with Ariadne about how so much has popped up with the KH series when Versus still is "what?".

And while in some ways it would make a lot of sense given how neglected the title has been since its announcement, it might be a poor strategy to not advertise the genuine product.

To be perfectly honest, I'd rather see Kingdom Hearts III and the *final* Final Fantasy VII game/anime movie/novel come out before Versus, as much as I love the look of that game. If only so I can rest easy, knowing that Nomura and Kitase won't be able to fuck these series over any more then they have done.

I picked Diablo III because they've already announced a tentative release date and they already have betas out and stuff. But if we're really lucky, Versus might come out on the same day as Diablo III in Japan.
