Red Faction Armageddon

Started playing at about 11am, finished playing at 9pm. Factor breaks I took, it has a single player mode of about 8 to 9 hours. I am disappoint. <_<

I just didn't realise that it's basically just an FPS (but 3rd person), piss poor short story mode and loads of online stuff. Tis' a solid shooter, but that's all it is. It’s so linear it’s almost a rail-shooter.

The Escapist video review says it all.

Rent it, don’t buy.

Ya we got like 6 copies in, including the 2 preorders, and I'm pretty sure I still have 3 left from that original bunch.

Sales don't always dictate how good a game is, but it's right quite often when it comes to low sales.

Btw, a third-person shooter is TPS.

It's a real shame though. Red Faction Guerrilla was good fun. Especially online.

Ah Red Faction Guerrilla, where driving a truck into the second floor of a building then shooting everyone in the face was concidered 'guerrilla warfare'.
